The directors have spent many years working within the built environment and take experience from not only directly delivering projects and maintenance but also from the client side as facilities managers, national operations and contract managers. Therefore, as a collective there is a comprehensive understanding of the requirements of all stakeholders within the delivery of projects and maintenance.
This unique understanding ensures that the elements and requirements of all people involved are considered, from the conception of a project, through to design and delivery, whilst also appreciating the needs of different clients, service users, tenants and residents throughout all sectors of property management.

Working with the client all projects and maintenance is carefully planned from conception stage. Not only is the actual delivery planned but Velway Projects and Maintenance prides itself on the fact that all stakeholders are considered from the start to ensure the project is delivered efficiently, effectively and on time and with minimum disruption. Each project is allocated a project manager and each client requiring reactive maintenance has their own account manager.
The planning stage, from the allocation of engineers to a reactive call out, or to a full office refurbishment is planned and managed within the Velway Project and Maintenance work management system.
The design stage is crucial and again Velway P+M ensures that the client is involved throughout. Utilising a vast number of national providers, manufacturers and suppliers, Velway P+M can offer several solutions to a project and are not tied to a single supplier, which ensures time effective delivery of maintenance.¬¬¬
The progression of a project is recorded and maintained within the Velway P+M work management system. All reactive maintenance is also logged and managed via the same integrated system which ensures consistency in reporting, worksheets and document management.
The work management system also records all Health and Safety requirements for the works, such as construction phase plans and dynamic risk assessments.
The delivery of works is the end product of all the other stages and processes. Velway P+M prides itself on the quality of projects and maintenance it delivers. It maintains this high level of excellence by following a simple but effective method of continuous monitoring of works, scheduled inspections and progress reporting, open and honest interaction with the client throughout and a comprehensive post project inspection and review with the client.
